Founding Engineer

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the founding team to talk to users and craft product experiences of today and tomorrow based on those findings. You’ll work on the end-to-end design, and engineering of new features and improvements on Terracotta’s products. You’ll help chart our course into the future as we evolve our technology, product, and design paradigms.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Contribute to the overall design and product direction of Terracotta products
• Engage in user research to better understand our users problems and design effective solutions
• Design and ship high-quality products and improvements, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals

Your background might look something like:

• Proficiency with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies
• Proficiency with a backend language (we use Python)
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL
• Interest in AI/ML
• A big plus if you’re a founder, or an early engineer at a startup who has built a product from scratch
